Arts in Transit (AIT) works to create a sense of appreciation and connection to art within communities. AIT greatly appreciates the support of the community as well. Both public and private support helps to sustain AIT’s quality of work and regularity of projects.
AIT has appreciated funding from the St. Louis Regional Arts Commission, the Missouri Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Federal Transit Administration, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Metro St. Louis and individuals in the St. Louis community.

You, your family & friends can assist artists in creating a masterpiece on wheels. Helping to execute an ArtBus painting at a community event is the perfect way to bond with your community and exercise your artistic skills.
ArtBus themes are dependent upon the organization or event partnering with AIT.
